Directions to Make Triangle Composition Art
Step 1
First, choose a gnome from the printable. Color and cut.
Step 2
Using a pencil, lightly sketch a large triangle on the blank sheet of cardstock.
Step 3
Next, place gnome onto paper and lightly sketch a scene around it. To keep with the triangle composition, designs need to focus in or around the triangle. For example, the triangle could contain the majority of the sketch to represent a large tree or pyramid. Or, the triangle area could be a road or river where the majority of the scene is placed around the triangle.
Step 4
Then, trace final sketch using a permanent marker. Erase unwanted pencil lines.
Step 5
Use crayons, colored pencils or markers to color your drawing.
Step 6
Finally, glue gnome onto your drawing. Add any other finishing details.
