Maruti Suzuki Jimny modified with lift kit and metal bumper looks hot! [Video]

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, in the short span of time since its launch, has garnered a huge amount of popularity in the country. This lifestyle off-roader is extremely capable, and to enhance its capabilities even more, enthusiasts have started modifying it. Recently, another video of a modification being done to a Jimny has been shared online. This particular Jimny has been fitted with a completely new off-road suspension, alloy wheels, and a bull bar, and it looks ready to hit the trails.

The brand-new Maruti Suzuki Jimny modification video comes courtesy of Tread Trails on YouTube. The video shows the presenter of the channel highlighting all the work they have done to this particular Kinetic Yellow Jimny. It starts off with the presenter mentioning that they have added a full Ironman suspension lift kit to this car. After this, he states that they have also added 15-inch bead-lock style American Racing alloy wheels along with 31.5-inch BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires.

In the video, the presenter also adds that this is now a permanent setup. Previously, they had added a 1.5-inch spacer to lift the car. Next up, he mentions that they have also added a fully functional snorkel on the front right A-pillar. The presenter states that they have installed a ton of snorkels on different vehicles so far, however, this one is by far the best one ever. He added that to install this, they just had to remove the bonnet and cowl, and it snapped into place, replacing a plastic piece.

Opening the bonnet, the presenter also showed the piping of the snorkel and stated that this is the only thing that could have been improved. Next up, he showed the newly added full metal front bumper. He stated that this one is an ARB replica metal bumper that looks extremely tough. They will be adding two Light Force 240 halogen lamps on the bumper to enhance the lighting of this vehicle.

Next up, the presenter of the video highlights the fact that the bumper has not been fully fitted in yet. It was mentioned that they were test-fitting the bumper to understand how it will look. The video then shows them painting the section behind the bumper and finally fully installing it.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny is the newest lifestyle off-roader in the Indian market. It is currently being pushed to its limits by true off-roading enthusiasts in the country, and a ton of them have shared their videos online. This SUV comes powered by a single powertrain option: a 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 104.8 PS and a maximum torque output of 134.2 Nm. The Jimny in India competes with the Mahindra Thar 4X4 and the Force Gurkha 4X4.
