Goa is known as the party capital of India. We have come across several videos and images in the past where people got carried away and ended up getting into trouble. There have been several incidents where tourists have driven cars onto beaches and gotten stuck. Rash driving has also caused accidents in many parts of Goa. Here we have a video where a tourist couple is seen performing stunts on a moving car on the streets of Goa. The video was shared online recently, and it has already gone viral.
The video has been shared by Goa News Hub on their Facebook page. The exact location where this incident happened is not known. The video was actually recorded by a person who was on a two-wheeler behind the car. In this video, we can see a person sitting on the roof of a private car. He is actually sitting on the roof while a girl can be seen sitting out of the window of the car. Both of them are foreigners, and it looks like they were drunk. The girl who was sitting on the window can be seen holding a bottle (probably beer) in her hand.
While they were doing these stunts, the car was in motion. This is happening at night, and there are not many vehicles on the road. The driver is navigating through the narrow streets of Goa. As the car moved forward, another individual popped out of the left side window of the car. All three tourists saw the person on the scooter behind them, and they can be seen waving to the camera as well. Goa has a decent population of foreign nationals. Many of them even run businesses there. It is not clear whether the foreigners seen here are actually tourists or if they have some business there.
The individual sitting on the roof and the one sitting on the window are both doing a dangerous stunt. It is not clear whether the driver of the car is drunk or not. He is seen driving the car fast, probably trying to avoid the camera. There are so many things that could go wrong in this case. The girl who is sitting on the right side rear window is actually blocking the view of the driver. He cannot see if any vehicles are coming from the rear. We have seen people stand out of the sunroof of cars, but this is probably the first time we have seen a person sitting on the roof of a moving car.
We have featured several videos in the past that show how dangerous it can be to stand out of the sunroof on a moving car. The same risk is applicable here too. If the driver has to apply sudden brakes for some reason, the person sitting on the roof will be thrown away. The two individuals sitting on the rear seat window will also be injured. Once again, we would like to stress the fact that public roads are not a place to do stunts, and by doing such stunts, they are not only risking their own lives but also the lives of other road users. The registration number of the car is visible in the video, but it is not clear whether the police have taken action against them or not.
