Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh buys a Toyota Fortuner Legender worth Rs 50 lakh [Video]

Ranveer Singh, who owns an expensive collection of SUVs including the super-luxurious Maybach GLS600, recently bought a Toyota Fortuner Legender. It is currently the most affordable car in his garage since he has sold the Ciaz that owned for many years.

The new Toyota Fortuner Legender of Ranveer Singh was spotted with his signature “6969” registration number. It is an all-black SUV and costs about Rs 50 lakh, on-road, in Mumbai. Ranveer sat in the rear seat of the Legender like he does in all his cars.

Right from his first luxury cars like Jaguar XJ and Aston Martin Rapide to his latest acquisitions like Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 and Lamborghini Urus, all the cars including the latest Fortuner Legender owned by Ranveer Singh feature “6969” as their registration number. The reason behind Ranveer Singh selecting this number for his cars is believed to be his fondness for the number “69.”

Legender is most expensive variant

The Fortuner Legender was introduced to the Indian market back in 2021. It looks significantly different from the standard Fortuner model and comes with a slew of changes on both the outside and the inside. The Legender is available in only one 4X2 automatic variant and comes with a price tag of Rs 37.58 lakh, making it even more expensive than the top-end standard Fortuner 4X4 automatic.

At the front, the Legender features all-LED dual-projector headlamps with unique-looking LED DRLs. It also sports a distinct grille that adds to its aggressive appearance and imparts a sportier touch.

The Legender boasts a twin grille, and at the lower part, it incorporates sweeping indicators mounted on the spoiler of the bumper. The ground clearance of the vehicle is 225mm, and it offers a boot capacity of 330 litres.

The Toyota Fortuner Legender also boasts a dual-tone interior with perforated leather seats, a wireless charging system, a powered tailgate that can be opened with a sweep of the leg, and additional features such as dual charging points in the rear.

The petrol variants are equipped with a 2.7-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 164 Bhp and peak torque of 245 Nm. The diesel variants feature the 2.8-litre V-GD engine, which generates a maximum power of 204 Bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The Legender is only available with automatic transmission. While there is an optional 4X4 system available with select variants of the standard Fortuner, it is not available with the Legender.
